ALL OUR FAVOURITE THINGS – DIRTY PRETTY STRINGS AND FRIENDS
+ Carl Barat + Brett Anderson + Ed Harcourt + Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Friday 23rd November 2012
A concert in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
Modern voices and old fashioned strings, gowns and candlelight, silent films and live
music. A glamourous evening featuring our favourite artists in a setting and sound reminiscent
of the 1930’s. We’re bringing together all the people we love, to play the music we love, to support a
cause we love.
Sisters Amy, Gita and Rosie Langley studied at the Royal Academy of Music and formed
the string quartet Dirty Pretty Strings to write, record and perform for top artists on TV,
in the studio and live on stage. Their motto is ‘beautiful music, beautiful dresses’.
Special Guests including Carl Barat, Brett Anderson, Ed Harcourt and Sophie Ellis-Bextor
mix it up and sing the unexpected… so glam up and come on down.
